One killed, 1 injured after small aircraft crashes in Brazil

Sao Paulo, Nov 3 (UNI) One person died and another was seriously injured after a small aircraft crashed in a rural part of northern Brazil’s Tocantins state, local media said on Sunday.

According to Tocantins police, the plane crashed Saturday night while flying over the municipality of Fatima.

Authorities said the plane’s 56-year-old pilot Diomedio Aires da Silva Filho was killed, and the other occupant of the aircraft was hospitalized and is in serious condition.
