Prayagraj, Feb 5 (UNI) India’s star shuttler and former Olympic bronze medalist Saina Nehwal arrived to attend Maha Kumbh on Wednesday to immerse herself in the spiritual experience.
Expressing her reverence, Saina said, “This is the world’s largest spiritual event, and I consider myself fortunate to be a part of it.” She lauded the Uttar Pradesh government for organizing such a grand event and encouraged more people to visit and spread its significance worldwide.”
She also shared her plans, mentioning that she would visit Triveni Sangam with her father and hopes to return with her mother.
She described Maha Kumbh as a massive celebration that brings people together, showcasing the nation’s strength and unity. “I feel proud that such a magnificent event is taking place in our country,” she said.
Wishing a bright future for the youth, Saina emphasised the transformative power of spiritual gatherings in fostering energy and positivity. She also prayed for the nation’s continued growth and prosperity and said, “I hope India reaches new heights of progress.”
Maha Kumbh continues to witness an overwhelming influx of devotees participating in rituals and holy baths at Sangam. To ensure a seamless and grand experience, the Uttar Pradesh government has made extensive arrangements, reinforcing its commitment to preserving this historic tradition.
