- Fatal stabbing in Kolar
Bhopal: A long-standing rivalry tragically culminated in murder last night in Bhopal’s Kolar area, where a 23-year-old daily wage earner, Shubham Yadav, was fatally stabbed by three assailants. Police have registered a murder case against the trio and have launched an intensive investigation.
According to ACP Anjali Raghuvanshi, Shubham Yadav had a history of disputes, including a physical altercation, with the accused — Bhupendra, Akash, and Golu. The simmering animosity boiled over late last night when the two parties unexpectedly encountered each other in front of a tea stall in Banjari.
The confrontation quickly escalated, with the three accused reportedly assaulting Yadav. In a fit of rage, the assailants then launched a frenzied knife attack on Shubham before fleeing the scene. Police, alerted to the incident, arrived to find Yadav bleeding profusely and rushed him to the hospital. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries a short while later.
Following the tragic death, Yadav’s body was sent to Hamidia Hospital for post-mortem examination. Acting swiftly, police cordoned off the area and apprehended Akash and Bhupendra, who were attempting to escape. The third accused, Golu, remains at large, with police conducting raids to locate him. Authorities are confident he will be apprehended soon.
Police confirm that both parties involved in the incident belong to the labor class. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to piece together the full circumstances surrounding this violent crime.
