- Flag hoisting ceremony at Congress Headquarters
Bhopal: The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) celebrated its Foundation Day with great enthusiasm across all district units in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. A special ceremony was held at the state Congress headquarters in Bhopal, where State President Ashutosh Choukse hoisted the NSUI flag. During the ceremony, he administered an oath to the organization’s officials and workers, urging them to strengthen the party’s organization with dedication and loyalty.
The program began at the Congress headquarters, where students paid tribute to the statue of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by offering garlands and flowers. In celebration of the occasion, sweets were distributed among the attendees.
Ashutosh Choukse, NSUI’s State President, congratulated everyone on the Foundation Day and shed light on the formation and objectives of the organization. He highlighted that NSUI was established on April 9, 1971, by Indira Gandhi to amplify the voice of students and secure their democratic and political rights.
Choukse urged the officials to work tirelessly and with dedication to strengthen the Congress party. He emphasized the need to connect new students in colleges with the organization, addressing their academic concerns and encouraging them to join NSUI, thereby making the organization stronger and more impactful.
