- NITTTR hosts training program on Academic Leadership Development for college principals
Bhopal: A three-day training program on “Academic Leadership Development for Administration and Management of Institutions” for Principals of Prime Minister Excellence and Autonomous Colleges concluded on 19th March 2025 at NITTTR Bhopal. The program aimed to equip educational leaders with the skills necessary for effective institutional management.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Prof. Dhirendra Shukla, OSD, Higher Education Department, emphasized the importance of institutional growth, stating, “If ‘I’ becomes ‘We’, the institution will progress.” He urged the principals to be role models as efficient administrators. Prof. C.C. Tripathi, Director of NITTTR Bhopal, highlighted the power of willpower, asserting, “Nothing is impossible if there is strong willpower.” He stressed the significance of creating a collaborative environment within colleges, where students, faculty, and administration work together toward shared goals.
Other speakers, including Prof. Santosh Bhargava and Prof. Ajay Agarwal, discussed qualities of effective leadership and the importance of continuous learning in educational administration. Prof. P.K. Purohit, Prof. B.L. Gupta, Prof. Sanjay Agarwal, Prof. Parag Dubey, Prof. R.K. Dixit, and Prof. Ashish Deshpande also contributed to the session.
The program’s success marks a significant step toward fostering transformative leadership in the higher education sector.
