Bhopal, October 13. The sluggish pace of the Madhya Pradesh Nursing Council is jeopardizing the careers of numerous students, many from the 2020 and 2021 batches, who still await their essential No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) months after results were declared in July.
After years of delay just to receive mark sheets, students are now battling unclear and changing registration processes. Initially, they submitted online applications in July and were promised NOCs would be updated on the portal within 40 days. With the deadline long passed, students who visited the council were told the process is now offline and instructed to submit new written requests.
The frustration peaked on Monday when students who traveled from various states were allegedly treated poorly by council staff. After submitting their requests, they waited outside the building until evening but received no clear response from the Registrar, leading to a disheartened return home.
The Registrar, Mukesh Singh, remained unavailable for comment, leaving hundreds of students anxious about their future job prospects due to the administrative deadlock. The students are demanding transparency and immediate action to resolve the critical NOC backlog.
