Mumbai, Sept 3 (UNI) Bollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz has revealed that she has no plans to step into films anytime soon, as her focus has shifted entirely to raising her young children.
Speaking in a candid exchange with Neha Dhupia during a Freedom to Feed live session, Ileana confessed that her cinematic pursuits have, for the moment, been eclipsed by the joys and trials of nurturing her young family.
The actress, now based in Houston, Texas, is married to Michael Dolan, and is a mother of two sons. The couple welcomed their first son, Koa Phoenix Dolan, on August 1, 2023 and more recently, their second son, Keanu Rafe Dolan, on June 19, 2025.
Talking about the emotional aspect of motherhood, Ileana admitted that the journey after pregnancy was not easy. She confessed that many times she doubted herself and felt weak.
She said, “There were times I felt I wasn’t a perfect mother. I broke down so many times, wondering if I was doing things right. But slowly I’ve realised it’s okay to have those feelings, it’s all part of the process.”
Ileana clearly said that she has no intention of returning to films at the moment. For now, she wants to devote her time and love to both her sons and wants to live the challenges and joys of motherhood.
