Satara, Aug 12 (UNI) Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has been selected for this year’s prestigious ‘Abasaheb Veer Social Puraskar’, on behalf of Kisan Veer Cooperative Sugar Factory (KVCSF), Satara, Maharashtra.
In a press release, KVCSF vice president Pramod Shinde said the award is given to individuals who have made contributions in development of social, economic, rural and national sectors. This year, Gadkari has been selected for his working contribution in roads and highways.
Shinde said that the date for the award distribution ceremony will be announced later.
