New Industrial Area to be Developed over 100 Acres in Gudh: CM Yadav

Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that a new industrial area spread over 100 acres will be developed in Gudh to create employment opportunities for youth. He also inaugurated development projects worth ₹17.13 crore at Baba Bhairavnath Lok. The Chief Minister said that, under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is preserving heritage while setting new benchmarks in religious tourism. He stated that grand spiritual corridors such as ‘Mahakal Lok’ in Ujjain, ‘Pashupatinath Lok’ in Mandsaur, ‘Raja Ram Lok’ in Orchha, and ‘Chitrakoot Dham’, among 13 such projects, are taking shape across the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the Vindhya region, especially Rewanchal, holds immense spiritual significance, as Lord Ram spent more than 11 important years of his life in ‘Chitrakoot Dham’ after leaving Ayodhya. He reaffirmed the state government’s resolve to give Chitrakoot a grand and divine form, with development works worth ₹3,000 crore planned, and assured continued financial support in the future. The Chief Minister addressed an inauguration event at the Baba Bhairavnath Temple Campus in the Gudh Assembly constituency of Rewa on Saturday.

Major Development Works for Guh

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated various development projects, including the new building of the Baba Bhairavnath Temple, constructed at a cost of ₹17.13 crore.He announced an additional ₹2 crore for further development of the temple campus. A police outpost and Bhairavnath Sarovar will also be constructed within the temple complex. He further announced the construction of a pilgrims’ rest house and a new gaushala in Gudh.

Benefits worth ₹2 crore were distributed to women of self-help groups. Cheques were handed over to beneficiaries for setting up dairies under the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Scheme, and certificates were awarded to meritorious students.

Growing Grandeur of Temples Under PM Modi’s Tenure

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav recalled that the renowned Somnath Temple in Gujarat was destroyed by foreign invaders nearly 1,000 years ago and was later reconstructed after Independence under the leadership of Sardar Shri Vallabhbhai Patel. He said that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s tenure, the temple’s grandeur and prestige have further increased. He also highlighted the construction of the historic Ram Temple at Lord Ram’s birthplace in Ayodhya.

Welfare of Poor, Farmers, Youth and Women a Top Priority

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the state government has taken decisions for the welfare of women, including increasing the assistance under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana to ₹1,500. He noted that when women receive financial support, they contribute to the well-being of both their parental and marital families. He stated that farmers are currently receiving ₹12,000 annually as incentive support through state and central government schemes. To secure a better future for children, modern and grand Sandipani Schools have been established across the state. He also said that Madhya Pradesh is steadily moving towards solar energy generation in every household.

Regional Industry Conclave a Boon for Vindhya Region

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla stated that, owing to the resolve of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, a Regional Industry Conclave was successfully organised even in Rewa. As a result, investors from across the country are now coming to set up industries in the Vindhya region, creating new employment opportunities for local youth. He also informed that a new cancer unit costing ₹322 crore is being established at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Rewa. Local MP Shri Janardan Mishra said that with the blessings of Bhairav Baba, the state government is working to eliminate poverty and unemployment, and districts are receiving dual benefits of irrigation projects and industrial areas.

Unique Idol of Lord Bhairavnath at Guh Temple

Local MLA Shri Nagendra Singh said that the idol of Lord Bhairavnath installed at the Guh temple is truly unique. He credited the Chief Minister’s guidance and support for making the development of the Bhairavnath Temple complex possible.

Former Speaker Girish Gautam, MLAs Siddharth Tiwari and Narendra Prajapati, along with other public representatives and a large number of local residents, were present.

Chief Minister Plants Saplings, Gives Message of Environmental Conservation

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inaugurated the grand Bhairavnath Lok complex near the village Khamdih under the LAD Scheme, following the completion of renovation of the Bhairav Baba Temple and construction of a community hall at a cost of ₹2.19 crore. He performed ritual worship, havan, and prayers with Vedic chants, seeking prosperity, peace and public welfare for the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav hoisted the temple flag and planted banyan, peepal, and neem saplings in the temple premises, delivering a strong message of environmental conservation alongside religious faith. Women welcomed him with ceremonial kalash and flower showers, while 51 batuks recited Vedic mantras, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere.
