New Delhi World Book Fair 2026 highlights learner-centric educational resources

New Delhi, Jan 19 (UNI) The 53rd edition of the New Delhi World Book Fair 2026 has emerged as a vibrant hub of literary and educational exchange, drawing publishers, authors, educators, and readers from across India and the world.

The New Delhi World Book Fair 2026 has witnessed a strong turnout of visitors, aided by free entry and a well-timed nine-day schedule. Publishers have noted keen interest from readers browsing a wide range of books, from popular bestsellers to specialised academic and regional language titles.

More than 1,000 publishers from over 35 countries are participating, making it one of the largest literary gatherings in the country.

Organised by the National Book Trust, the fair was inaugurated by union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

This year’s theme, “Indian Military History: Valour and Wisdom @75,” is showcased prominently at the Theme Pavilion, which features over 500 books and hosts more than 100 theme-based events.

A notable attraction is the Rashtriya ePustakalaya, a digital library offering access to 6,000 free eBooks, blending traditional book culture with digital innovation.

With its emphasis on education, culture, and accessibility, the New Delhi World Book Fair 2026 continues to celebrate literature while reinforcing India’s rich reading ecosystem.

Prashant Jain, Chief Operating Officer of Oswaal Books, who has a stall in the fair said, “The New Delhi World Book Fair offers a powerful platform to engage with learners, parents, and educators from across the country. The entire range of books reflects our commitment to addressing diverse learning needs from early childhood to high-stakes competitive examinations.”
