- Chief Minister Yadav warns officials
Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav delivered a stern warning to district collectors and top field officers, stating that his government will not overlook negligence and expects them to work with full responsibility. The warning came during the state-level Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh (Completeness Campaign Awards Ceremony) held on Wednesday.
At the event, CM Yadav honored collectors and their teams from aspirational districts and blocks for their outstanding performance.
Recognizing excellence in governance
Dr. Yadav praised the “Aspirational Districts” program, an initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as a powerful example of a coordinated effort to drive development in underdeveloped areas. He highlighted the positive changes brought about by the campaign, including improvements in healthcare, education, agriculture, infrastructure, and governance.
“The positive change in the lives and living conditions of the residents of these districts and blocks expresses the success of the campaign,” Dr. Yadav said. He noted specific improvements in areas like health check-ups for pregnant women, child vaccination rates, distribution of soil health cards, and timely provision of school supplies.
Chief Secretary Anurag Jain echoed the sentiment, stating that the Sampoornata Abhiyan has introduced a new work culture characterized by data-driven evaluations and healthy competition among districts.
Honoring top performers
CM Yadav recognized dozens of officials for their exceptional contributions. Among those honored were the collectors and their teams from districts like Barwani, Damoh, Dhar, Khandwa, Niwari, and Vidisha. The awards were also given to officials who served in these districts during the campaign’s implementation, including former collectors, district council CEOs, and other team members. The ceremony served to both acknowledge success and set a clear expectation for future performance.
