NDA ahead in 9 seats marked by Grand Alliance friendly fights

Patna, Nov 14 ( UNI) In an interesting scenario, the NDA is leading at all nine seats where the constituent units of the opposition camp the Grand Alliance (GA) had entered into a friendly fight.
According to the latest trends, the internal tussle appears to have backfired, as major GA partners, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress, have suffered setbacks on several seats where their candidates ended up competing against each other or against alliance rebels.
As per the latest round of counting, BJP’s Sunil Kumar is leading from Biharsharif where Congress and CPI candidates were fighting against each other.

Mahendra Ram of JDU is ahead in Raja Parker seat, where CPI and Congress were in direct competition, while Surendra Mehta of BJP is leading in Bachhwada, where grand alliance partners CPI and Congress made the battle interesting as they are facing each other.
In Vaishali, Siddharth Patel of JDU is also leading, where RJD and Congress candidates were competing against each other.
The Grand Allaince’s delays in finalizing its seat-sharing arrangement led to these “friendly fights” at several constituencies, highlighting the consequences of prolonged negotiations. As it stands, the NDA is leading in 190 seats, while the GA is ahead in 49 seats, in the 243-member Bihar Assembly.
