Navabharat/Central Chronicle Survey: Congress leading in Madhya Pradesh

In the survey conducted by the Navabharat/Central Chronicle team on all 230 seats immediately after the completion of assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, it has emerged that Congress is getting the lead.

Congress is going to get between 115 to 125 seats. In a close contest, BJP can get 98 to 105 seats. Others may capture 8 to 12 seats. In the survey conducted by Navabharat/Central Chronicle, Congress seems to be leading from Chhindwara, Gwalior-Chambal, Vindhya region. In Malwa-Nimar, Central region, Mahakaushal region, BJP and Congress seem to be winning almost equal number of seats.

Mahakaushal- Total 42 Seats

–       Out of the total 42 seats in Jabalpur region under Mahakaushal, Congress seems to be winning 21 seats and BJP is also winning 21 seats. Congress seems to be winning all three out of three seats in Anuppur district. Out of two seats in Umaria district, one seat each seems to be going in BJP and Congress accounts. Out of four seats in Katni district, BJP seems to be victorious on three and Congress on one. Out of 8 seats in Jabalpur district, there is a possibility of BJP on 7 and Congress on one seat. Congress seems to be victorious in both the seats of Dindori district. Out of the three seats in Mandla, Congress seems to be winning on two and BJP on one. Out of the 6 seats in Balaghat district, all of them seem to be going to the Congress. Out of four seats in Seoni district, BJP is likely to win three seats and Congress one seat. Out of four seats in Narsinghpur district, BJP seems to be winning on two and Congress on two. All three seats of Shahdol district seem to be going to BJP’s account. Out of three seats in Damoh district, Congress seems to be winning on two and BJP on one.

–       Out of 30 seats in Gwalior Chambal region, there is a possibility of Congress winning 19, BJP 10 and others winning one seat. Congress seems to be winning both the seats in Sheopur. Out of 6 seats in Morena district, Congress is likely to win 4, BJP on one and others on one. Out of five seats in Bhind district, Congress is likely to win 3 and BJP is likely to win two.
Congress seems to be strong on four and BJP on two, out of six seats of Gwalior. Position of Congress is seen better than BJP on all three seats of Datia district. Out of five seats of Shivpuri district, BJP is seen winning three seats and Congress winning two seats. Out of three seats of Ashoknagar, Congress is likely to win two and BJP can win one.

In Vindhya, out of 25 assembly constituencies of five districts under Satna region, BJP seems to be winning on 9 and Congress on 15. Here one or two seats can also go to others. Out of three seats in Panna, Congress seems to be winning on two and BJP on one, and out of seven seats in Satna district, Congress is seen winning on five and BJP on two. There is also a possibility of someone else coming to one seat in Satna. Out of eight seats in Rewa district, BJP is likely to win three, Congress four and others one. Out of four seats in Sidhi district, three seats seem to be going to Congress and one seat to BJP. Out of three seats in Singrauli district, BJP seems to be victorious on two and Congress on one.

Malwa-Nimar- Total 66 Seats

–       Out of 66 seats in Indore and Ujjain divisions under Malwa-Nimar, BJP is seen winning 33 seats and Congress 33 seats. Congress is looking strong on both the seats of Agar-Malwa district. Congress seems to be winning all three seats in Shajapur district. Out of five assembly seats in Dewas district, BJP is seen winning four and Congress winning one. Out of four seats in Khandwa district, Congress seems to be victorious on one and BJP on three. BJP seems to be victorious in both the seats of Burhanpur. Out of 6 assembly seats in Khargone district, Congress seems to be winning four and BJP on two. Out of four seats in Barwani district, BJP is strong on three and Congress is winning on one. Out of two seats in Alirajpur, BJP is winning one and Congress is winning one. Out of three seats in Jhabua district, Congress is seen winning two and BJP is winning one. Out of seven seats in Dhar district, Congress seems to be winning 4 and BJP on three. Out of nine seats in Indore district, BJP seems to be victorious on 6 and Congress on 3. Out of seven seats in Ujjain district, Congress seems to be victorious on four and BJP on 1. Out of five seats in Ratlam district, BJP seems to be winning 4 and Congress 1. Of the four assembly seats in Mandsaur district, Congress is in a position to win one and BJP is in a position to win three. Out of three seats in Neemuch district, Congress seems to be winning on two and BJP on one.

–       Out of 60 seats in the region known as Central Region of Madhya Pradesh, Congress is ahead in 30 seats and BJP is ahead in 30 seats. Out of five seats in Betul district, Congress seems to be winning on two and BJP on three. Out of two seats in Harda district, one seat is seen going to BJP and one seat to Congress. Out of four seats in Narmadapuram district, BJP seems to be winning two and Congress two. Out of four seats in Raisen district, BJP is winning two seats and Congress is winning two seats. Out of five seats in Vidisha district, Congress seems strong on one and BJP on four. Out of seven seats in Bhopal district, there are chances of Congress winning 5 and BJP winning two. Out of four seats in Sehore district, Congress is visible on one seat and BJP is visible on 3 seats. Out of five seats in Rajgarh district, BJP is in a strong position on 3 and Congress is in a strong position on two. Out of four seats in Guna district, Congress is likely to win three and BJP one. Out of the seven seats in Sagar district, there are chances of Congress winning two and BJP winning five. Out of three assembly seats in Tikamgarh district, two seem to be going to Congress and one to BJP. Out of four seats in Niwari district, BJP is visible on two and Congress on two. Out of five seats in Chhatarpur district, Congress seems to be winning four and BJP one.
