NATO chief Rutte to visit Bosnia

Moscow, Mar 8 (UNI) NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina on March 10 to meet with high-level Bosnian officials and EU representatives and visit the NATO mission to the Balkan nation, the alliance said in a statement on Friday.

“The Secretary General will meet high-level officials from Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the Chair and members of the Presidency, the Chair of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Defence, and the Acting Minister of Security. Mr Rutte will also visit NATO Headquarters Sarajevo (NHQSa) at Camp Butmir, where he will meet the Commander of the NHQSa, the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and representatives from the European Union,” the statement read.

Rutte will give a joint press conference alongside representatives of the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina at noon and speak at the University of Sarajevo later in the afternoon.
