Bhopal: The annual photography competition organized by Dr. Priya Bhave Chittawar continues to gain momentum, completing its third successful edition at Lalit Kala Gallery, Ravindra Bhavan. With over 300 participants from across India, the event celebrated visual storytelling through four diverse categories: Maternity, Nature & Wildlife, Portrait, and Street Photography.
Winners were honored with prizes totaling up to Rs 1 lakh, making it one of the most rewarding photography contests in the region. The event was graced by social activist Dr. Dolly Sharma as chief guest, along with Pooja Chouksey (LNCT Group of Institutions) and Madhuri Mishra (Apna Ghar), who added to the event’s stature.
A highlight of the program was a well-received panel discussion on “From Pregnancy to Motherhood,” which drew appreciation from attendees for its depth and sensitivity.
Among the top winners were Shrabanti Mitra and Mayank Kushwah in the Maternity category, Anup K.N. and Rahul Godase in Street, Rajesh Dhar and Vijay Richhiya in Portrait, and Swaroop Singha Rao and Bitopan Sarma in Nature & Wildlife.
The event once again proved to be a vibrant platform for photographers to showcase their creativity while also highlighting social and emotional themes through the lens.
