New Delhi, Muslim groups on Saturday reacted tentatively to historic Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya, saying that it was not satisfied with parts of the judgment but urged the people to maintain peace andtranquility.
Speaking after the SC verdict this morning, Zafaryab Jilani, who represented the Sunni Central Waqf Board in the Supreme Court, said he was not satisfied with the judgment and would decide its future course of action.
“We are not satisfied with (judgment). We do not consider this as just. We will read the entire judgment,
and then decide whether to file a review petition.” He maintained he was not criticising all aspects of the
verdict giving five acres of alternate land to Muslims at a prominent place in Ayodhya.
