Music education will now also be made available in Indore’s CM Rise schools. Separate music rooms will also be built there. Music education is being given in three colleges of the city, it will also be enriched further. For this, new music teachers should be appointed. In this work, the support of the School Education Committee, College Public Participation Committee, Municipal Corporation and other social organizations related to music will also be taken.
This decision was taken by Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh in a meeting organized with music teachers. He said that the Indore Development Authority will play its role in the construction of music rooms. District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Siddharth Jain said that there should be as many workshops of singing, playing and dancing in all the educational institutions in Indore city.
Various social organizations should also give their cooperation in this. He said that the Speak Macay organization, which does such work in educational institutions, will be invited. Gautam Kale said that teaching and training in singing, playing and dancing is being done in higher education institutions, but its effect is less visible among the students. It is necessary to have continuous discussions between music artists and teachers. In today’s era, modern techniques should also be used in learning music.
