Bhopal, During the National Energy Conservation Day celebrations, Shri R.K. Singh, Honorable Union Minister for Power, New and Renewable Energy, presenting the ‘Appreciation Award’ to Master Awaiz Alam. Shri Krishna Pal, Hon’ble Minister of State for Power, Government of India and Shri Pankaj Aggarwal, Secretary (Power), Government of India were also present on the occasion.
Among the participants from the States/UTs allotted to NHPC, Master Awais Alam of Madhya Pradesh has been awarded ‘Commendation Award’ under Group ‘A’ Category in the National Painting Competition during the National Energy Conservation Day Celebrations 2023. This award recognizes the talent and awareness displayed during their painting competition. Master Awais Alam is a student of Class-6 at My World Higher Secondary School, Jahangirabad (Madhya Pradesh). Master Awais Alam received the award in a ceremony organized on 14.12.2023 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
Honorable President of India, Smt. Draupadi Murmu was the chief guest on the occasion. Master Awais Alam received this award from Shri R.K. Singh, Honorable Union Minister of Power, New and Renewable Energy. Shri Krishna Pal, Hon’ble Minister of State for Power, Government of India and Shri Pankaj Aggarwal, Secretary (Power), Government of India were also present on the occasion.
NHPC had recently conducted state level painting competitions in Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, while in Madhya Pradesh the painting competition was conducted through NHDC Limited (a joint venture between NHPC and Government of Madhya Pradesh).
