Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that three upcoming dates in June hold special significance for both Madhya Pradesh and the nation. June 5 is World Environment Day, making it an important day for the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign. The state government is undertaking extensive efforts to protect the environment. The campaign was formally launched on Gudi Padwa and has been running continuously since March 30 and will continue until June 30. Public representatives and citizens are actively participating in the campaign. Dr. Yadav shared details of the important events scheduled for June during an interaction with the media in New Delhi today.

11 Successful Years of the Central Government under the PM Modi’s Leadership

Dr. Yadav noted that following Environment Day, June 9 marks a significant occasion — the completion of 11 successful years of the government led by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He stated that various programs will be organized across Madhya Pradesh to celebrate this achievement. Dr. Yadav said that the Prime Minister deserves congratulations not only for forming the government for a third consecutive term but also for the historic decisions he has taken, proving that national interest is his top priority. These decisions include the abolition of triple talaq, ensuring the unanimous implementation of Supreme Court decisions across communities, and giving a firm response to Pakistan through surgical strikes, air strikes, and most recently, Operation Sindoor inside Pakistan. The government’s firm stance against China at the borders is also noteworthy. From the implementation of GST to other major reforms, the changes reflect the evolving India. Under Prime Minister Modi’s capable leadership, India’s global stature has risen, and it has now become the fourth-largest economy in the world.

Remembering the ‘Dark Day’ to Highlight the Importance of Democracy

Dr. Yadav emphasized that the Emergency is remembered as a dark day in the history of independent India when the democratic framework was crushed. The public had strongly resisted it. On June 25, under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, this day is observed to raise awareness about the importance of democracy throughout the country. A series of programs will also be organized on this date at various levels.

Gifts for Farmers During the Year of Industry

The Chief Minister informed that on Monday, May 26, Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar will attend the Agro-Industrial Conclave in Narsinghpur. The aim is to strengthen the agriculture-based economy, promote the use of agricultural machinery, and natural farming, enhance production capacity, establish agro-based industries, generate employment, and ensure fair prices for farmers. A campaign will also be launched to enhance the capacity of food processing units in the state.

This year, being celebrated as the Year of Industry will bring significant benefits for farmers. The Narsinghpur conclave will feature modern agricultural machinery, drones, AI-based tools, and live demonstrations of organic farming to guide farmers. Various departments will set up stalls to provide information on government schemes related to farmer welfare.
