- CM says industrialists have a big role in trade, business; mining conclave concludes in Bhopal
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that today the state government has received proposals worth Rs 20,000 crore in the mining sector. Industrialists have a big role in trade, business, so the government is constantly focusing on it and is holding industry conclaves every month.
CM said that mining is a big risky department. It has to be signed very thoughtfully. In MP, the mining sector is currently getting revenue of Rs 10,000 crore. Which has to be taken to Rs 50,000 crore. He said that the state government is fully prepared to set up any kind of industry and will provide full cooperation.
MP is the motherland of rivers
The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is the motherland of rivers. The eco system is changing here because mining is done directly by installing machines. Diamonds are also being found along with gold in Madhya Pradesh. Why is the diamond district named Panna? It seems that Panna will also be found in Panna district of Madhya Pradesh.
Before 2014, the country was at the 5th position in terms of economic condition and economic wealth, but in 10 years, there has been a huge change in it. The government is always there, but what kind of person is running it? It depends on the one who runs it. Officers work, how to get work done from them. It depends on the one who runs the government. I had distributed departments among the ministers, but kept the mining department with me because there were many complaints about it.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that, if you want to understand the universe, you will have to understand the structure of your body. God has decided that whoever has come, will have to go. All the countries of the world associate themselves with patriarchy, but our country associates itself with matriarchy. The rivers flowing in our country flow like the arteries of the gem-bearing earth. Just like the arteries of blood flow in our body. In our culture, importance is given to judicious use rather than exploitation.
Seminars necessary to implement policy reforms
The topics of the conclave included mineral exploration, mineral processing, use of new technologies and environmental protection. Topics like artificial intelligence and machine learning based digitalization are also included in the discussion. Seminars like conclave are also necessary to implement the necessary policy reforms in the mineral sector.
Madhya Pradesh is rich in abundant mineral resources. Madhya Pradesh has the distinction of being the only diamond producing region of the country. The Malajkhand region of the state is the largest copper mining area in the country. Due to Madhya Pradesh being in the middle, transportation facilities are easily available for investors. This type of conclave will not only boost the mining sector of Madhya Pradesh, the state will also play an important role in the prosperity of the country.
The program was inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary Anurag Jain.
Investment of 15-20,000 crores expected in cement sector
Principal Secretary of Mining Department Sanjay Shukla said- Investment of 15 to 20 thousand crores is expected in the cement sector in the coming time. This work can be done in 4 to 5 years. The state government will include the suggestions received in its proposed mineral policy and will implement it after approval.
