Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Police have achieved notable success under a special drive to trace missing and separated children, reuniting 19 children with their families across several districts within the past week. The prompt and compassionate response of the police has brought relief and joy to many distressed families.
In a major breakthrough, Mandsaur police recovered a one-year-old boy who was abducted from the Jeewaganj area on December 14. Acting swiftly, police traced the child to Merta city in Rajasthan’s Nagaur district within 48 hours, arresting three accused with the help of technical evidence and informer inputs.
In the state capital, Bhopal, a minor girl who went missing from the TT Nagar police station area was traced within four hours. A special team conducted an intensive search at public places and safely recovered the girl from Harshvardhan Nagar Park, handing her over to her family.
Chhatarpur police also played a crucial role during a large fair at the Vaidehi Baba temple, where 13 children were separated from their parents. Through continuous patrolling and public announcements, all the children were safely reunited with their families.
Similar alertness was shown in Ujjain, Jhabua and Katni districts, where missing children were traced within hours using coordinated efforts and CCTV surveillance. These actions underscore the Madhya Pradesh Police’s commitment to child safety, blending humane policing with technological efficiency and rapid response.
