MP Police crack 3 kidnapping cases

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Police have successfully cracked three serious kidnapping cases in Betul, Gwalior and Shivpuri districts over the past 10 days, rescuing all victims unharmed and arresting the accused. Emphasising the safety of women, children and youth as a top priority, the police achieved the breakthroughs through technical expertise, strong informer networks and swift action by joint teams.

In Betul, Kotwali police registered a case immediately after receiving information about the abduction of a youth and a ransom demand made to his father. Acting swiftly, the police used technical evidence, mobile location tracking and informer inputs to plan a coordinated operation. Joint teams from Khedi Sawligarh police outpost and Jhallar police station rescued the abducted youth safely from the Themgawan area and arrested four accused.

In Gwalior, under Operation Muskan, Gola Ka Mandir police recovered a one-year-old child within hours of his abduction from the Gwalior fair. Senior officers treated the case with utmost seriousness and issued prompt directions. Through alertness and rapid action, the accused was identified and the child safely rescued, drawing heartfelt gratitude from the family.

In Shivpuri, police in Narwar area rescued a woman and her two children within 18 hours of their abduction. Using CCTV footage, technical inputs and informer intelligence, joint teams arrested two accused and safely freed the victims.

Officials said the swift rescues reflect the police force’s sensitivity, professionalism and commitment to protecting vulnerable sections of society.
