MP first state in country to give money to girl students for sanitary napkins

  • More than 57 crore rupees transferred to more than 19 lakh girl students

MP has become the first state in the country to give money to girl students for sanitary napkins. More than 57 crore 18 lakh rupees have been transferred to the accounts of more than 19 lakh girl students. Under the Sanitation and Hygiene Scheme, an amount of three hundred rupees was transferred per girl student for one year.

On Sunday, a dialogue and honor program for girl students was organized at Ravindra Bhavan. This amount has been given for girl students from class seven to twelfth.

Students tie Rakhi to CM

Students presented a huge Rakhi to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. After this, the students also tied Rakhi to the Chief Minister. Dr. Yadav presented gifts to the students. The Chief Minister felicitated the girl students who led Madhya Pradesh in the Republic Day Parade New Delhi-2024 and National Service Scheme, and the girl students who topped in various faculties in the college. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also felicitated the girl students who participated in the Youth Exchange Program. In the series of felicitation, talented girl students who secured first position at the state level in various faculties of the Class XII board examination were also felicitated. The Chief Minister also felicitated the girl students who performed well in international and national level competitions in sports activities.
