Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh – The Madhya Pradesh Congress is gearing up for the 2028 assembly elections with a two-day training and brainstorming camp scheduled for July 21st and 22nd in Mandu, Dhar district. Leader of Opposition, Umang Singhar, announced that the camp will focus on developing new party strategies and perspectives.

Key areas of discussion at the camp will include social media engagement, strengthening organizational structure, addressing grassroots issues, and enhancing public relations. National Congress leaders, including party spokesperson Supriya Shrinate and senior leader Ajay Maken, are expected to attend. A special invitation has also been extended to Rahul Gandhi.

Singhar also took the opportunity to criticize the current state government. Mocking Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s recent Dubai visit, Singhar stated, “The world is investing in Dubai, and our Chief Minister wants Dubai to invest in Madhya Pradesh. This is ludicrous and a waste of public funds.”

He further lambasted the government over the ongoing fertilizer shortage in MP, questioning the silence of farmer unions and demanding transparency from the Agriculture Minister regarding imported fertilizer quantities and alleged black marketing. This camp is seen as a crucial effort by the Congress to unite and strengthen its organization ahead of the next electoral battle.
