The meetings brought together members of district coordination committees, newly appointed block presidents and Assembly in-charges from Sagar, Panna, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Damoh and Chhatarpur districts. The primary focus was to reinforce the Congress at the grassroots level, familiarise newly appointed office-bearers with their roles and responsibilities, and infuse organisational discipline, clarity of direction and renewed energy among party workers.
Assembly-level meetings were organised for Sagar district constituencies including Bina, Khurai, Surkhi, Deori, Rehli, Naryawali, Sagar and Banda. Similar meetings were held for Damoh district (Damoh, Patharia, Hatta and Jabera), Tikamgarh district (Tikamgarh, Jatara and Khargapur), Niwari district (Niwari and Prithvipur), and Panna district (Pawai, Gunnour and Panna). Assembly-level meetings for Chhatarpur, Rajnagar, Chandla, Nowgong and Maharajpur constituencies were also conducted in Khajuraho.
Addressing the gatherings, Patwari said the Congress is the voice of the people and will strengthen its organisation village by village to launch a united fight against the BJP’s anti-people policies. He urged newly appointed office-bearers to work with dedication and prioritise public issues, reiterating that the party’s goal is to form a Congress government in Madhya Pradesh that ensures inclusive development and dignity for all.
AICC secretary Ranvijay Singh Lochav emphasised organisational unity and discipline, stating that the party is being strengthened at the grassroots as per the high command’s directions and the results will soon be visible. The meetings were held as part of the Congress’s ongoing ‘Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan’ aimed at restructuring and revitalising party units across the state.
