MP BJP Chief leads massive Tricolor Rally in Chhindwara, slams congress

Chhindwara/Bhopal: In a powerful display of political strength, Madhya Pradesh BJP President and MLA Hemant Khandelwal led a six-kilometer-long ‘Tiranga Yatra’ (Tricolor Rally) in Chhindwara today. The event, part of the nationwide “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, saw a huge turnout of enthusiastic party workers, who marched despite heavy rainfall to express their patriotism and political allegiance.

A rally of patriotism and ideology

The rally commenced from the Chandangaon Mata Temple and was met with a patriotic fervor along its route. The procession was showered with flowers and garlands by residents, highlighting strong public support. The event concluded with a grand reception at the BJP district office, where Khandelwal addressed the gathered crowd.

He used the platform to assert the BJP’s unique position in Indian politics, stating that it is the only party to have never compromised on its core ideology and principles. He commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, assuring the public that the nation is secure and capable of overcoming any challenge. Khandelwal urged party workers to redouble their efforts to strengthen the organization, emphasizing that a robust BJP is crucial for national progress.

Political allegations and defections

Khandelwal’s speech also took a sharp turn, targeting the Congress party. He criticized the Congress as a party created by the British, lacking any clear ideology, and referenced Mahatma Gandhi’s desire to see it dissolved after independence. This political offensive was bolstered by a significant development: over a hundred Congress workers, led by Ashok Chaudhary, Amit Sharma, and Saurabh Chaudhary, officially joined the BJP during the event.

The rally concluded with symbolic gestures of community and service. Khandelwal participated in the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” (One Tree in Mother’s Name) tree-planting campaign and received Rakhis from female party workers, reinforcing themes of environmental responsibility and family-like bonds within the party. He welcomed the new members, assuring them that all party workers are valued and that their roles will evolve with time.
