Modi who talks about making India a Vishwaguru

  • Sold 78% of the country’s wealth to 13% of the country’s population including Adani-Ambani
  • Country’s treasury has been emptied: Jeetu Patwari

Bhopal: In a spirited address to Congress workers in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jeetu Patwari and party in-charge Harish Choudhary criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his failure to address crucial issues like unemployment, inflation, and farmers’ distress.

Patwari pointed out that Modi’s promises during the 2014 election campaign, including tackling unemployment, controlling inflation, and ensuring justice for farmers, have remained unfulfilled. “Instead of improvement, unemployment and inflation have worsened, and farmers continue to face relentless oppression,” Patwari said, adding that inflation has surged fivefold under Modi’s government.

He strongly condemned the concentration of wealth in the hands of just 13% of the population, including industrialists like Adani and Ambani. “Modi has handed over 78% of the country’s wealth to just 13% of the population, leaving 80% of the people with only 20% of the wealth. What kind of country is this?” he questioned, accusing Modi of emptying the nation’s treasury.

Patwari also backed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s call for a caste-based census, stressing that it is essential to identify and help the most impoverished communities. “Caste-based census will help in recognizing the poor in every caste, and ensure that the government provides for them,” he explained.

Addressing national security concerns, Patwari mentioned China’s encroachments on Indian land and Modi’s silence on the matter, contrasting it with the bold leadership of Indira Gandhi during the creation of Bangladesh.

Patwari concluded by reaffirming his commitment to bringing Congress back to power, declaring that the party would fight vigorously in the upcoming elections to end the ongoing corruption and injustice under the BJP government.
