Moderate rain likely across Vidarbha for next three days

Nagpur, Oct 21 (UNI) The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has predicted light to moderate rainfall in various parts of Vidarbha, Maharashtra, over the next three days: from October 21 to 23.

The rain is also expected to affect certain regions of Madhya Pradesh, according to weather authorities.

Officials from the RMC stated that a well-defined low-pressure system, combined with a cyclonic circulation stretching from the Arabian Sea to the Bay of Bengal and an active trough line, is contributing to favourable weather conditions for rainfall across central India.

Although rain is on the radar, temperatures have been rising gradually in Nagpur and the surrounding areas.

Yesterday, Nagpur recorded a daytime high of 33.6 degrees Celsius and a nighttime low of 20.2 degrees Celsius. Morning humidity levels were at 69 per cent, dipping slightly to 64 per cent by evening.

Meteorologists noted that while the southwest monsoon has fully retreated, dry conditions persist due to prevailing easterly winds.

However, the current weather systems may lead to scattered showers over the next few days, before the region begins transitioning into winter by mid-November.
