Missing girl reunited with family after 10-month search

  • Paryavaran Sanskriti Trust honors Bajaria police station in-charge

Bhopal: Under Operation Muskaan, Bajaria Police Station In-Charge Shilpa Kaurav and her dedicated team achieved a major breakthrough by tracing and safely recovering a minor girl missing for 10 months, who was the subject of a cash reward of Rs 10,000. The girl was handed over to her parents, bringing relief to the family after months of anxiety.

For her sensitive and self-motivated efforts, Sushil Kumar Jain, President of the Paryavaran Sanskriti Trust, along with Vinay Jain (Bawdi Kheda) and Ramesh Jain, felicitated Station In-Charge Shilpa Kaurav with a Special Duty Officer Certificate and extended appreciation to her entire team.

The case began on January 4, 2025, when a resident of the Bajaria area reported her minor daughter missing. Given the seriousness of the situation, wide-ranging searches were launched under the guidance of senior officers through TV broadcasts, CDR analysis, and CCTV reviews. The investigation revealed that the girl had boarded the Gorakhpur Express, prompting an extensive search across MP, UP, Bihar, and Delhi.

Finally, during Operation Muskaan, with assistance from the cyber cell and input from an informant, the girl was located in Indore. Station In-Charge Kaurav credited the success to teamwork and the efforts of SI Arvind Kumar Singh, ASI Manoj Singh, and other team members from Cyber Cell Zone 01.
