Miss India Nikita visits Mahakal

  • Takes blessings from doorstep of sanctum sanctorum

Four days before Diwali, Nikita Porwal, who made Ujjain famous across the country, reached the city. Nikita, who came to the city for the first time after becoming Miss India, was given a warm welcome. A red carpet was laid in the Arvind Nagar Colony to welcome her.

As soon as she got out of the car, people greeted her by showering her with flowers. Children jumped with joy and started dancing. Greeting people, she walked slowly and reached her home, where her mother Rajkumari Porwal welcomed her by performing aarti. Nikita had lunch with her family and reached Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple and took blessings from Lord Mahakal from the doorstep of the sanctum sanctorum. Nikita sat in the Nandi Hall and meditated on Lord Mahakal. On behalf of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee, Assistant Administrator of Temple Committee Moolchand Junwal and Prashant Tripathi honored Miss India by presenting Lord Mahakal’s dupatta, prasad and a picture of the Lord.
