Miscreant steals mobile on the pretext of making a call

Bhopal: In a moving train, a miscreant asked for a mobile to make an important call and \ran away. GRP has registered a case of mobile theft against the unknown accused. Expensive mobile phones have also been stolen from the pockets of many other passengers. Investigation is being done in all the cases.

According to the information, Divyanshu Kaude, a resident of Betul, was travelling from Ujjain to Bhopal by Ujjain-Bhopal special passenger train. When the train stopped at Sant Hirdaram Nagar railway station, a youth approached Divyanshu. He asked Divyanshu for his mobile to make an important call, he gave his mobile to him for help. The youth called someone and while talking, he disappeared with the mobile. Even after a lot of searching, when the youth who stole the mobile could not be traced, Divyanshu reached GRP and filed a report of theft. The price of the stolen mobile is said to be Rs 15 thousand.

Meanwhile, Suman Parochiya, a resident of Lambakheda Bhopal, was travelling from Ujjain to Bhopal by Indore Bhopal Passenger train. When she looked five minutes before reaching Bhopal station, her mobile kept on the seat was missing. The cost of the stolen mobile is said to be Rs. 21 thousand. In another incident, Bhopal resident Vishal Shrivas had reached Bhopal from Bina by Rajyarani Express. After getting down from the train, while climbing the bridge located at platform number one, someone stole his mobile phone from his pocket. The cost of the stolen mobile is said to be Rs. 14 thousand. Similarly, Bhopal resident Yogesh Kumar Parashar had reached Bhopal station to go to Vidisha. While boarding the general compartment of Punjab Mail, someone stole his mobile phone from his pocket. The cost of the stolen mobile is said to be Rs. 10 thousand

Laptop stolen from the store room of Home Guard office

Two laptops kept in the store room of the Home Guard office located in Arera Hills were stolen. These laptops were kept to operate drones. The cost of the stolen laptops is said to be around thirty thousand rupees. The police have registered a case against unknown thieves and started the search.

According to the information, Platoon Commander Ketan Kanoji complained to the police that he had last seen the laptops safe in the store room in the month of June. When he reached the store again at the end of September, the laptops were not there. He informed the SDERF officials about this. The officials investigated at their level, but could not find anything. After that, a complaint was made at the police station. Police have registered a case against unknown thieves.

In another incident, Devendra Kushwaha’s bike was stolen from New Subhash Nagar Aishbagh, Sumit Lodhi’s bike from Bittan Market Habibganj and Priyanshu Kushwaha’s scooter was stolen from near Dussehra Ground in Govindpura. Police have registered a case against unknown vehicle thieves in all the cases.

Ganja worth 23 thousand recovered from drug smugglers

Piplani police arrested a drug smuggler and recovered ganja worth about twenty thousand rupees kept illegally with him. Similarly, Katara Hills police seized ganja worth three thousand from a woman.

According to the police, on Thursday night, information was received that a young man was roaming around near Anand Nagar in search of selling ganja. After the information, the police reached the spot and detained the suspected youth. On searching, 1 kg 200 grams of ganja was found with him, which was seized by the police. The value of the seized ganja is said to be 20 thousand rupees. During interrogation, the accused revealed his name as Vinod Kushwaha. A case has been registered against him under the NDPS Act. Similarly, the Katara Hills police station has seized 200 grams of ganja from a woman named Nirmala living in Barrai village, the cost of which is said to be three thousand rupees. A case has also been registered against the woman under the NDPS Act.
