Minister Dilip Ahirwar’s Convoy Smashes E-Rickshaw, Injuring Seven

Chhatarpur, October 17: A horrific accident in the Lavkushnagar area has severely injured seven people after a vehicle in State Minister Dilip Ahirwar’s convoy violently struck an e-rickshaw near Basantpur Square. The impact was so severe that the rickshaw was flipped airborne.

Elderly Driver Critically Injured

The 70-year-old e-rickshaw driver, Sahab Singh, sustained fractures to both legs. Six other passengers, who were returning from Diwali shopping, were also seriously injured. The sudden crash caused chaos, raising immediate concerns over VIP vehicle safety.

Convoy Speeds Away, Family Awaiting Aid

Witnesses report that the Minister’s convoy, returning from a Dussehra Milan event in Barha village, continued driving without stopping after the collision. The injured were rushed to Lavkushnagar Hospital. Sahab Singh, in critical condition, was later referred to Gwalior. The victim’s family claims the Minister only promised to send an Ayushman Card but offered no immediate assistance.

Lavkush Nagar SDOP Naveen Dubey confirmed the incident, stating that police are identifying the exact vehicle involved and will take appropriate action. The accident sharply highlights the reckless nature of high-speed VIP movement.
