Bhopal: State Forest Minister Dilip Singh Ahirwar today reached Banka and Deori villages of Chandia tehsil of Umaria district and met the family members of deceased Ramratan and Kherukol, who were victims of elephant attack, and expressed condolences.
As per the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, he handed over orders for ex-gratia amount of Rs 8 lakh each to the family members. Ahirwar said that in this sad moment, the state government and the forest department are fully with the affected families and they will be given all possible help.
On the instructions of CM Dr. Yadav, Minister reached Chandia and inspected the spot and reached the house of deceased Khairukol and expressed condolences and said that this is a very sad incident. He handed over the acceptance letter of financial assistance of Rs 8 lakh to Sapna Kol, daughter of deceased Khairukol. Ahirwar said that apart from the education and hostel facilities of daughter Sapna, other facilities and assistance will also be provided.
Ahirwar also reached the house of deceased Ramratan Yadav in village Deora and handed over the acceptance letter of ex-gratia amount of Rs 8 lakh to his wife Kallibai Yadav. Ahirwar said that you need not worry, the government will help you in every possible way.
