Meaningful discussion on “India without Constitution”

  • Bahujan community must unite to protect their rights, says Digvijaya

Bhopal: With the objective of protecting social justice, Bahujan consciousness, and democratic values, the “Bahujan Intellect Summit – Chapter 3” was successfully organized today, April 26, 2025, at the Auditorium of Ravindra Bhavan, Bhopal.

The central theme of the summit was — “India without Constitution” (A Hypothetical Perspective) — on which deep, thought-provoking, and meaningful discussions took place.

Chief Guest Prof. Purushottam Agrawal, in his address, said, “The Constitution is not just a document; it is the foundation of our very existence. If it is weakened, the very base of society is shaken. We must strengthen constitutional values at the grassroots level.”

Program Chairperson former CM Digvijaya Singh stated: “The way democratic institutions are being weakened in the country today is a matter of grave concern. The Bahujan community must unite to protect their rights.”

Special Guest Jitu Patwari, State President, MPCC, remarked: “Social justice and equality are possible only if the Constitution is safeguarded. This summit is the call of the times. We must all participate actively in this awakening of Bahujan consciousness.”

Every Bahujan must remain ideologically alert

In a joint statement, Dr. (Major) Manoj Raje and Shri Inayat Abbas said: “This summit is not just a discussion but a movement of Bahujan consciousness. When the Constitution is under threat, it is essential for every Bahujan to remain ideologically alert.”

Sunil Borse and Dilip Mhaske said: “This event is a strong platform for Bahujan self-respect and ideological revolution. It marks a new phase in the struggle for social justice.”

Dr. Devendra Singh Dhakad and Shri Yogesh Man Singh Kushwaha emphasized: “Protecting the Constitution is the duty of every citizen. Through this platform, we strongly demand that OBC reservation be increased from 18% to 27%. We will continue to raise this voice.”

Tej Kumar Tigga and Shri Humaid Shakeel added: “Constitutional protection for tribal and minority communities is absolutely necessary. This summit is a significant effort to bring their role into the mainstream. The greatest achievement of this summit has been the unity of the Bahujan community.”

Q&A session held

During the summit, a Q&A session was held, where young participants asked questions on topics such as the Constitution, social justice, reservations, and Bahujan unity. Senior speakers responded thoughtfully and seriously.

A large number of intellectuals, students, social workers, and journalists participated. Throughout the event, an extraordinary blend of enthusiasm, energy, and ideological seriousness was witnessed.
