- Attend mass wedding ceremony at Bitton Market
Bhopal: Mayor Malti Rai and Municipal Corporation Chairman Kishan Suryavanshi graced a mass wedding ceremony held at Bitten Market, offering their heartfelt blessings to newly married couples and wishing them a joyful and prosperous life ahead.
The free-of-cost group marriage ceremony, held on Wednesday at the Bitten Market Vegetable Complex, saw 11 couples tying the knot in a traditional and respectful manner. The event was organized by Jai Maa Vaishno Devi Durga Utsav Samiti and Shri Ram Rasoi Samiti, with strong community support.
Mayor Rai and Chairman Suryavanshi blessed each couple personally and praised the spirit of social harmony and support promoted by such community-led initiatives. They also extended their gratitude to the organizing committees for their commendable efforts in facilitating weddings for families in need.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of dignitaries and community members, including former Municipal Council President Dr. Surjit Singh Chauhan, Bitten Market Traders Association President Hariom Khatik, members of the organizing committees, the families of the bride and groom, and many well-wishers from the city.
