New Delhi, Aug 16 (UNI) Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla has been given additional charge of Nagaland Governor in addition to his own duties following the demise of the Nagaland Governor L. Ganesan in Chennai yesterday.
‘’Consequent upon the demise of Shri La. Ganesan, Governor of Nagaland, the President of India has appointed Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Governor of Manipur, to discharge the functions of the Governor of Nagaland, in addition to his own duties,’’ a Rashtrapati Bhawan communique said here this evening.
Mr Ganesan had passed away in Chennai yesterday evening after a brief illness. He was 80.
