Bhopal: In the capital, a husband gave a Supari of Rs 50,000 to get his wife killed. Police said that the accused got married in February this year. He gave a contract of Rs 50,000 to his five friends to kill his wife. Police have arrested her husband and his 5 friends in this case.
According to Bilkhiriya police, the accused has been identified as Hemant Sengar (24). The accused had a love marriage with the woman on February 15 this year against the wishes of his family members. The woman also went against her family to marry him. About a month after the marriage, the couple started arguing frequently and Sengar decided to kill the woman. He gave a contract of Rs 50,000 to five of his friends to kill his wife on the occasion of Holi.
On the day of Holi, Sengar along with his wife deliberately went to an area of the city for fun and informed his friends that he was there so that they could kill his wife. All five men reached there and beat his wife and also lightly attacked Sengar to make the incident look like a real assault. However, the woman survived the attack. He is admitted to the hospital, where his condition still remains critical.
Subsequently, Sengar contacted the Bilkhiriya police and lodged a complaint against the accused himself to avoid police suspicion. Police recorded his statement, which later did not match the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area. Upon suspicion, the police interrogated him strictly and he confessed to the crime. Bhopal Rural SP Pramod Kumar Sinha said that along with Sengar, five other attackers, to whom he had given contract to kill his wife, have also been arrested.

Woman, others attacked with blade in Bijasan Nagar
Bhopal: It proved costly for the woman to give advice to the youth who were abusing while standing in front of her house in Bijasan Nagar located in Kamla Nagar police station area. Angered by this, the young man along with his friend beat up the woman and attacked her with a blade.
Seeing the dispute going on, when a young man came to intervene, he was also attacked with a blade by the miscreants. Three other people also got hit by blades in the meantime. The incident occurred around 6 pm on Saturday evening. After committing the incident the accused fled from the spot. The police have registered a case of attempt to murder against the accused and started searching for them.
SI Gaurav Pandey told that Anwari Khan, 35, wife of Ansarul Khan, lives in Bijasen Nagar, Kamla Nagar. She told the police that she was at home on Saturday evening. During this time, around six o’clock, Akku alias Sanskaar Sharma and Akshay Singh, living in the locality, reached in front of their house. Both were abusing in front of the house.
When Anwari forbade him from abusing in front of the house, he got angry and started abusing Anwari. During this, the accused attacked him with a blade. The blade is in Anwari’s hand. Husband reached Ansarul as soon as he got wind of the fight with his wife. Meanwhile, Ashok Jatav, who lives in the locality, arrived and tried to intervene. On this the accused also attacked them with blades. Four people have been injured in this attack.
