New Delhi, Jan 4 (UNI): A 50-year-old man allegedly ended his life by jumping from the 12th floor of a five-star hotel in Delhi’s Connaught Place on Sunday, police said.
According to Delhi Police, the deceased has been identified as Parvinder Singh Juneja, who was a resident of the city’s Lajpat Nagar.
Police stated that Singh reportedly entered the hotel and took a lift to the 12th floor, where a restaurant is situated, and subsequently jumped from the building, police said.
Police were informed of the incident around noon on Sunday, after which teams rushed to the scene and began legal proceedings.
Police sources stated that Juneja had checked in to the hotel during the Christmas period and subsequently checked out.
The body was sent for a post-mortem examination, police said, adding that the incident is under investigation to determine the circumstances.
