Bhopal: The first executive meeting of the Madhya Pradesh Mahila Congress was held at the Pradesh Congress office in Bhopal on Wednesday. The meeting was attended by State In-charge Sunita Gawande, State President Vibha Patel, and Working President Noori Khan.
During the meeting, the party launched the ‘Organisation Creation Campaign’, aimed at strengthening the organisational structure of the Mahila Congress across the state. The initiative is being undertaken under the guidance of senior Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and All India Mahila Congress President Alka Lamba.
It was decided that observers from the All India Mahila Congress and the state unit would visit all districts to consult local women leaders and prepare panels for district president appointments. The most active and capable candidates will be selected. The process will conclude by the end of October, and new district presidents will be announced in the first week of November.
Following this, the Mahila Congress will launch a state-wide movement against the BJP government’s policies, focusing on women’s safety, inflation, unemployment, and the government’s unfulfilled promises. Training programmes will also be organised to develop leadership and organisational skills among newly appointed leaders.
