Maha: Govt takes decision to increase commission of ration shopkeepers by Rs 20 per quintal

Mumbai, Apr 15 (UNI) The decision to increase the commission of ration shopkeepers who distribute food grains to seven crore beneficiaries in the state’s villages by Rs 20 per quintal from Rs 150 to Rs 170 was taken in a meeting held at Mantralaya on Tuesday, under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister and Food & Civil Supplies Minister Ajit Pawar.

It was also decided to allow the sale of 10 essential commodities approved by the Centre and available through NAFED through ration shops.
