Sochio, March 6 (SPUTNIK/UNI) A 4.5-magnitude earthquake shook the Russian city of Sochi early Friday, but authorities report no damage to buildings or infrastructure, Mayor Andrei Proshunin said.
“An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale occurred this morning in Sochi. No infrastructure facilities were damaged, and the emergency response center has received no reports of incidents,” Proshunin wrote on Telegram.
Updated data indicate that the epicenter was located offshore, registering a magnitude of 4.1.
