  • CM to host round table meeting

Bhopal: In a major push to position Madhya Pradesh as a leading hub for the apparel and textile industry, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is set to host a high-level round table meeting with representatives from over 15 top national and international brands on August 14. The meeting, to be held at the Chief Minister’s residence, is a strategic move to attract significant investment and open up new avenues for global market access.

The state government plans to present a comprehensive overview of its assets, including the state-of-the-art industrial infrastructure, PM MITRA Parks, a skilled workforce, and its strategic geographical location. Dr. Yadav will unveil the state’s new textile policy and detail the “Made in MP – Wear across the World” vision, outlining a clear roadmap for the sector’s future growth.

“This event will facilitate direct dialogue between local producers and global brands, leading to an increase in exports and the creation of new employment opportunities,” said Chief Minister Yadav, emphasizing that this initiative will be a catalyst for the state’s economic development.

The meeting will be attended by a distinguished group of industry leaders from global brands such as Puma, PVH, Hanesbrands, Mothercare, Wildcraft, and Raymond Lifestyle. This high-profile engagement underscores the state’s ambition to become a key player in the global apparel and textile supply chain, promising a new era of growth and prosperity for the sector.
