Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra will work together to take agriculture-based industries to every home. One and one will not work as two, one and one will work as eleven. CM Dr. Yadav was addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Agrovision National Agriculture Fair organized in Nagpur on Friday. He said that this is not just a fair but it has laid the foundation for the future good governance of a prosperous India and the state.

CM Dr. Yadav said that Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari is an accomplished doctor who streamlines social systems. He said that the state is identified on the basis of rural agriculture based work. I appreciate that the Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra governments are encouraging agriculture-based industries like fisheries, animal husbandry, milk production in every household. He said that production is not limited to productivity, but focus is also being laid on providing adequate market for the products. A team of ministers and officials of Madhya Pradesh will be sent to observe and study the fair.

Income will increase from cow rearing

CM said that the Madhya Pradesh government has implemented many schemes to increase the income of cow-herders. He said that we are believers of Krishna, those who have cows at home are Gopal and those who have a family of cows at home are Gokul. In Marathi, calves are called Gaura and Gauri. We have planned to give Gauri to cow-herders instead of cows. Cow-herders should take 5 Gauris and raise them at their home, cow-herders should keep 2 cows at their home and we will buy 3 cows. Cow-herders will sell milk and their income will increase.

Freedom from the confinement of Kanji House

CM said that we are going to build cow shelters in urban areas to provide shelter to the destitute and such cows whose milk-giving capacity has become low or zero and the cow-keepers have left them destitute. In this sequence, the ground-breaking ceremony of a cow shelter with a capacity of 10 thousand cows is going to be held in Bhopal. This will also curb accidents caused by destitute cows on the roads. The Chief Minister said that we have also decided to close confinement mines like Kanji House, Kheda in Madhya Pradesh. There is no justification for keeping mute animals in jail.
