The Lost Cell Phone Unit team of the capital’s cyber crime has succeeded in recovering 502 mobile phones worth Rs 76 lakh 50 thousand lost by common people. Police Commissioner Harinarayanachari Mishra has returned these mobiles to the complainants.
When people who had almost given up hope of getting their lost mobile phones got their phones back, happiness returned on their faces.
According to the information, due to the increasing incidents of loss of mobile phones in the city, a Lost Cell Phone Unit was formed for the convenience of the common people. Owners of lost mobiles can easily lodge their complaints in this unit. After which the team makes efforts to search for it. Cyber Crime Bhopal’s Lost Cell Phone Unit team worked hard and recovered 502 missing mobile phones on the basis of technical information. Officials said that the Lost Cell Phone Unit has recovered cases from Raisen, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Sehore, Narsinghpur, Sagar, Hoshangabad, Gwalior, Indore, Bhopal districts of Madhya Pradesh as well as from many states of the country like Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar etc. The missing mobile phones of the applicants have also been recovered by gathering information through technical analysis and other resources. Out of the 502 missing mobile phones recovered, many mobile phones were returned to the applicants by the Police Commissioner with his own hands. The process of returning the remaining phones by other officials is going on.
