- Country will also become corruption free: ACP Richa Jain.
Bhopal: Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 was celebrated from recently at Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Center Bhopal. This year’s theme of Vigilance Awareness Week, celebrated on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, is “Prosperity of the nation with the culture of integrity”.
Let us free ourselves from corruption – the country will also become corruption free. If you complete the assigned task, whether you like it or not, with full honesty, ignoring your personal problems, then success is not difficult – this is what ACP Richa Jain said. The occasion was the closing ceremony of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 at BMHRC.
During the address, she said that even if there is criticism while performing your duty, then ignore it and work with dedication. When a person is in trouble, he either goes to the police or to the doctor. The work of the police and the doctor is almost the same. Both professions are hard work, where one has to work vigilantly and maintain the trust of the people.
The chief guest of the program, IISER Vigilance Officer Professor J. Shankar said that it is necessary for government employees to never exceed the limits of their rights and follow integrity while working honestly. Transparency should be taken care of in public procurement in any institution.
BMHRC Director-in-charge Professor Dr. Manisha Srivastava said that apart from the Vigilance Week, we keep appealing to the people to be loyal to their work, to their institution, to be honest towards the country.
BMHRC Vigilance Officer Prof. Dr. Honey Vasudev Gulwani said that if every person works within the limits of ethics, then a corruption-free society can be imagined.
At the end of the closing ceremony, prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions organized under the Vigilance Week.
