Bhopal, A special lecture was organized by the MP Jan Abhiyan Parishad to mark the birth anniversary of Adi Shankaracharya, celebrating his contributions to Indian philosophy, spirituality, and cultural unity.
The event began with traditional worship and lamp lighting before a portrait of the spiritual reformer. Chief Guest Mohan Nagar, Vice President of the Parishad and Minister of State, highlighted how Shankaracharya’s work in simplifying Vedic knowledge and establishing the philosophy of Advaita Vedanta helped unify Indian thought.
Dr. Bakul Lad inspired attendees to follow Shankaracharya’s teachings in service to society, while regional coordinator Varun Acharya led a pledge on water conservation under the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan. District coordinator Kokila Chaturvedi explained the event’s objectives. The event saw wide participation from Parishad-affiliated youth groups, advisors, and students, with Ayush Dubey and Anil Upadhyay handling coordination and vote of thanks respectively.
