- Passengers become victims during train journey
The series of theft of passengers’ items during train travel continues. During the last 24 hours, miscreants stole items worth lakhs of rupees including laptops and mobile phones. GRP has registered a case in all the cases and started investigation.
According to the information, Ujjain resident Inder Hirve was travelling from Ujjain to Bhopal in a passenger train on Monday. During this time, he had kept his backpack on the side seat. When he reached Sant Hirdaram Nagar station, the bag was missing. The bag contained 2 laptops, a health department ID card and items worth about 60 thousand.
Similarly, Abhishek Solanki’s mobile was stolen during his journey in Shridham Express. He was travelling from Mathura to Itarsi. When he checked five minutes before reaching Bhopal, the mobile was missing. Meanwhile, Satna resident Mayank Dwivedi was travelling from Indore to Bhopal in Indore Bhopal Express. During this time, someone stole two mobile phones kept in the pocket of the trousers. Two thousand rupees cash was also kept in the cover of one mobile. The cost of the stolen mobiles is said to be 38 thousand rupees.

Obscene acts with minor girls
Cases of obscene acts and assault with two minor girls living in Kolar and Chhola Mandir area have come to light. Police have registered a case in both the cases and started investigation. According to the police, a 14-year-old girl living in Kolar area studies in class 8. For the last few days, a youth named Ranjit was harassing her. He was following the girl and pressuring her to be friends. On September 2, Ranjit had committed obscene acts with the girl, but the victim did not report it then. On Monday, Ranjit caught the girl’s hand in public and started committing obscene acts with her. When the victim raised an alarm, her mother reached there. When she tried to convince Ranjit, he abused her and beat her mother.
Meanwhile, a case of obscene act with a 13-year-old girl living in Chhola Mandir area has come to light. According to the police, the victim was studying in class 5. Her father is a businessman.

Servant who stole businessman’s Bullet bike caught
Police has arrested the servant who stole the bullet bike of a hardware businessman in Kolar area. The stolen bike has been recovered from him. The accused is being questioned about other incidents of vehicle theft.
Kuldeep Patidar, who lives in Kolar area, runs a hardware shop. About three months ago, he had hired a youth named Rohit alias Surendra, resident of Chhola Mandir. His bike was missing when he came down from the house on the morning of September 6. When he did not find the bike after searching around, he checked the CCTV cameras and the servant Rohit was seen taking the bike. Police has arrested Surendra alias Rohit from Chhola Mandir area and recovered the stolen bullet bike from him.
