‘Laikey Laikaa’ first look poster hints at dark, intense story

New Delhi, Jan 14 (UNI) The makers of ‘Laikey Laikaa’, starring Abhay Verma and Rasha Thadani, unveiled the film’s first-look poster on Tuesday.

Phantom Studios shared the poster on Instagram, revealing a striking visual of a boy’s and a girl’s blood-soaked shoes as they stand on a staircase, hinting at a dark and intense narrative.

The film is directed by Saurabh Gupta. Sharing the poster, the production house captioned it simply, “Earn Love!”

Abhay Verma was last seen in Munjya, a film inspired by Marathi folklore. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the movie also featured Mona Singh and Sathyaraj.

Munjya followed the story of a mythical creature and the chaos it brings into the life of Bittu, portrayed by Abhay Verma. Mona Singh played Pummy, a single, working mother who is fiercely protective of her son.

Rasha Thadani, meanwhile, made her Bollywood debut in 2025 with Azaad. Set in pre-independence India, the film starred Ajay Devgn as a skilled horse rider who shares a deep bond with his horse.

The story takes a dramatic turn when Ajay’s character confronts the British, leading to his horse going missing. The task of finding the lost horse falls to Aaman Devgn’s character, Ajay Devgn’s nephew.

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Azaad received praise for its strong performances and gripping storyline. Ajay Devgn’s cameo and backing further boosted the film’s success, with the movie earning Rs 1.5 crore nett at the box office on its opening day.
