Bhopal: Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Krishna Gaur, performed the Bhoomi Pujan for various development projects worth Rs 70 lakh in the Govindpura area on Monday. She emphasized that in Indian tradition, performing rituals before starting any work ensures its smooth completion. She added that a public representative is essentially a public servant, and fulfilling people’s expectations is her foremost duty.
In Rajat Vihar Colony, Bhoomi Pujan was performed for paving block construction worth Rs 5 lakh and CC road construction worth Rs 7 lakh. Gaur also paid tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his Balidan Diwas, calling his life an enduring inspiration of national service.
In Ward 54’s Durga Nagar Mandir premises, Bhoomi Pujan was held for paver block and temple roofing works. She said the project will enhance the convenience of devotees and beautify the temple area. Further, she initiated paver block work in Sterling Castles, drain and park construction in Kunjan Nagar and upgradation of Kabirpanthi Samaj Bhawan, along with park and road works in Bagsevania.
