New Delhi, Dec 30 (UNI) Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday termed the lathicharge on BPSC aspirants as “shameful and inhuman” and said the “double engine has become a symbol of double atrocities on the youth.’

He also accused the BJP of spreading a “web of paper leak mafia across the country,” which is ruining the future of the youth.

He said that in the last seven years, more than 70 paper leak incidents have taken place.

“When rigging is detected, the BJP shamelessly denies or tries to silence the youth by lathi-charging them. The future of 3.28 lakh youth in the BPSC exam is hanging in the balance,” Kharge said.

Meanwhile, Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra slammed the Bihar government and condemned the lathicharge on BPSC aspirants.

In a post on X, Vadra said, “BJP’s double engine has become a symbol of double atrocities on the youth. Water cannon and lathicharge on youth in this harsh cold is inhuman”.
